Customized Sustainment Development (With Proprietary Culture Systems)
Everyone has a culture. It is just the way you do things around there. At Blue Brook, we find that your culture is going to make your company or break your company in the next 5 to 10 years. Some companies will set out to have a culture like Google or QuickTrip and devastate their competition. The companies that do not have a magnetic culture will suffer from a 30% to 80% productivity loss and go under because of the competition. Especially with the new generations taking more of a leadership role.
Blue Brook’s Custom Sustainment Development Plan along with our Proprietary Culture Systems has been developed over the last 10 years. It has been proven to be 100% successful and sustainable after Blue Brook is long gone. Giving our clients the benefits of having a 3% to 8% employee turnover, Double profit margins, reduction in HR issues, decrease in hiring cost, increase in customer retention, ability to attract the customers and the employees you always wanted. We have changed the way our clients think about their work, employees, leaders, customers, even their personal lives. Build Departmental Connections
Generational Hand Off Coaching and Facilitation
The generational handoff can be difficult for companies to endure if the next generation is not completely ready. They need to develop their own leadership style, gain the trust of everyone in the organization and have the vision to project your company into the future. They are coming into an increasingly competitive market. This means that their leadership will need to be one that inspires change and creative problem solving for everyone on their team. It is best to start the process of executive development earlier than later, to avoid the risk of the handoff failing. You will need a trusted advisor for your next-gen, that can stop these potential problems.
Blue Brook has been helping companies groom their next generation of leaders for years. We will come in and teach your new leader, up to a Green Belt Level in LEAN Six Sigma, show them how to best leverage their time during the week, how to build a world-class culture. How to create sustainability systems for the entire company, the importance of respecting internal and external customers of your company, to continuously focus on being data-driven and KPI focused, how to be the perfect coach/leader, creative ways to build quality into the company processes so defects are not allowed, how to build departmental connections, to install accountability systems for every stakeholder, and most importantly, build their confidence to fill your shoes.
Your Blue Brook personal coach / Handoff facilitator will come to your business once a week for 4 to 8 hours per week. Depending on the current company owners’ vision, the scope of the project can change. They will meet your new leader or leaders where they are at on their journey and start there. We will listen to what the current owner wants to see and agree on outputs of the project and in what time frame they should see those results. If we are not able to hit the agreed upon goals, then we should kindly go. If it is not working, then we should not stay around any longer.
You, as the one handing the reins over, should feel a big sense of relief. You should see that your new leader or leaders are taking charge in a positive, respectful, and profitable way. This approach will reduce or eliminate the risk of things going wrong when you walk away. Your investment in Blue Brook will secure your investment with your life long passion, your company.
Kaizen Event One-Off or Departmental Continuous Kaizen Events
Kaizen Events are a great way to get your stakeholders engaged in your processes, your people, and their customers. We will start with training on 6S. 6S is the foundation of creating flow in your business. It is proven that if a company’s operations are 100% 6S, it can double their output. This will only happen if your sustainment plan is designed to not fail. We will make that happen for you!
All students in the Kaizen Event will be trained up to a LEAN Six Sigma Yellow Belt Level (GE Based). Blue Brook will come to your company 1 day per week for 4 hours, for 8 weeks (Time spent on Kaizen is customizable). A large amount of your Kaizen Event time will be at the Gemba (where the work is being done) with a strong focus on Leadership Development. The scope of the project will be designed by Blue Brook and your Leadership. Together, we will design your project to be completed on time and with the desired results.
Together, we will create Sprint Goals that will be completed between sessions and each team member will present their completed Sprint Goals at the beginning of each session to their team. It is important that leadership allows 15 to 30 minutes, every day, in-between sessions for each team member to complete their Sprint Goals. Your Blue Brook Coach will help leadership manage the Sprint Goals. Blue Brook will report on the needs of the group to ownership or top leadership. At the end of the Kaizen Event, your company’s Kaizen team will give their final presentation to all the leadership in their company.
This approach will help your leadership create a challenging, fun, and inspirational experience that will be unforgettable. It is highly suggested that you continue holding Kaizen events for each department in your company until the top leadership’s vision is met. You will start to see your company stakeholders engage in your business as you have never seen before, with this unique approach. Below are some of our optional Kaizen Events we can do for you:
- LEAN Construction Kaizen Events
- LEAN Office Kaizen Events
- LEAN Manufacturing Kaizen Events
- LEAN Agriculture Kaizen Events
- LEAN Sales Kaizen Events
Looking to capitalize on your company’s additional capacity from all your improvements? Then it is time to start building up your sales team to double your revenue. We will come in and seek to understand your current condition and start building your team with customized training solutions. We will create a team that knows how to leverage the strengths of everyone connected (or should be connected) to the process.
LEAN Implementor Personal Coach
We believe that everyone in a company should have a coach. Blue Brook’s coaches will come to your business on a weekly basis to help build all of your leaders (or potential leaders) into profit-making machines. We will inspire your leaders to make schedules, accountability systems, teams, production plans, LEAN Programs, and a custom collaborative operating system. With the right tools and a new fresh game plan, they will hit all the goals you give them in the future.
